The Thomann Family Summer Party
Where customers are usually advised, orders processed and instruments sent on their way, it was time to switch into party mode on Saturday, 18 July. Our employees and their families came together at our Treppendorf campus for a relaxed summer day filled with music, great food and a colourful programme for the kids. It was the perfect opportunity to catch up away from the daily routine – in front of the stage, at the food trucks or over a refreshing drink.
Music all around
Our colleague Andi Karl set the tone for the evening from the DJ booth, delivering exactly the right soundtrack to get the party started. But he had one more surprise up his sleeve: at the end of his set, Andi picked up the microphone and began singing the opening lines of “Unchain My Heart”. Then the curtain dropped to reveal our BigTBand already waiting behind it. Together, they launched into a version of the song that gave everyone goosebumps, thanks in no small part to Andi’s powerful, soulful voice.
The stage then belonged to the BigTBand, made up entirely of Thomann employees. Performing songs by Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder and Bruno Mars, they once again proved that we do not just work with music at Thomann – we make some pretty great music too. Powerful vocals, impressive solos and an infectious joy of playing showcased just how much talent there is among our colleagues.
Together through the years
One of the most emotional moments of the evening was celebrating our long-serving employees. We honoured colleagues marking 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and even 40 years at Thomann. A heartfelt thank you for their loyalty, dedication and for all the years in which their knowledge, ideas and personalities have helped shape Thomann.

Later on, live band Chicolores turned up the energy and drew guests onto the dance floor. In between songs, everyone kept heading back to the food trucks and drinks stands to grab a bite, raise a glass and enjoy some time together.
There was plenty to keep our youngest guests entertained too. They could burn off some energy on the bouncy castle and climbing hill, while the log-jumping challenge put their balance and coordination to the test. And, of course, no summer party would be complete without the right outfit: our confidants team once again handed out the annual Thomann Summer Party shirts.
We had a blast!
What made the day so special was not only the incredible music and entertainment, but above all the people behind it. A huge thank you to the entire organising team and all the volunteers who made sure everything ran smoothly. We would also like to thank our employees and their families for joining us. They brought our campus to life and turned the summer party into a truly special Thomann day.
