Is the world of strings your passion? Are you an avid guitar or bass player with extensive knowledge of amps, effects, and traditional and acoustic string instruments? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge, are you constantly learning new things, and would you like to actively contribute to the development of your team?

Then the position of Deputy Team Leader (m/f/d) for the Guitar & Bass department is just right for you. In this role, you will support the team leader with organizational tasks, take on responsibility for day-to-day business, and be the first point of contact for colleagues and customers on all matters relating to guitars, basses, and accessories.

Your tasks

We inspire and enable people to speak music, everywhere. And that's what we want with you.
Your tasks are as challenging as they are varying:
  • You will advise our customers on acoustic guitars, electric guitars, bass guitars, bluegrass instruments, and accessories in our contact center via email, chat, and phone, as well as in the store, and process orders
  • You will actively support the team management in coaching, training, and developing employees in the guitar & bass department
  • You will ensure that quality standards are maintained in customer contact and in the sales process—both in the store and via the hotline and digital channels
  • You will share responsibility for designing and maintaining the store display, including promotional items
  • You communicate company goals clearly and promote a motivating team spirit
  • You take care of organizational tasks such as shift planning, closing the cash register, and handling special cases

Your profile

With us, your knowledge, your talent and your ideas will find the right stage.
You should bring the following with you:
  • You have commercial training and/or an equivalent degree, ideally related to retail
  • You are passionate about playing (electric) guitar and/or bass and have both theoretical and practical expertise
  • You have a strong interest in motivating, coaching, and developing colleagues—ideally with initial leadership experience
  • You enjoy taking on responsibility, always have an eye on the big picture, and are constantly looking for ways to improve
  • You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Working with a computer and common Office applications is second nature to you
