Celebrating 50 Years of Tama at Meinl Company in Gutenstetten
It was a true pleasure to be part of Tama’s 50th-anniversary celebration at the Meinl Company in Gutenstetten! The event was a drummer’s paradise, featuring a wide range of equipment to admire and test. From cymbal displays and percussion segments to an array of snare drums and full drum kits, including some antique treasures, the spacious showroom had it all.
Throughout the day, we enjoyed drum clinics by Simon Gattringer, known for his work in the TV band of “Wer stiehlt mir die Show” with Joko Winterscheidt, and Anika Nilles, who showcased new songs.
The evening ended on a high note with a legendary performance by Simon Phillips and his band, Protocol V.
With excellent catering, refreshing drinks, and beautiful weather in the outdoor area, there were mini-workshops, Silent Kits to try out, and even a double bass drum speed competition to showcase your skills.
Our Thomann crew had an amazing time at the Tama Drum Festival, soaking in the relaxed atmosphere. A big thank you to Tama for the invitation and to the Meinl Company for their wonderful hospitality.
Let’s continue to celebrate Tama’s incredible history, the drummers who keep the groove alive worldwide, and the joy of spreading rhythm!
