New Season, New Features: “Here to Get Heard” Kicks Off Season 4
With the new season of our podcast “Here to Get Heard,” we’re entering round four and are excited about our added video feature and many fascinating people from the music industry.
“Here to Get Heard” is our podcast, produced in collaboration with Shure. It focuses on FLINTA* individuals who share their experiences in the music industry. It has been hosted from the very beginning by Senta, who has been working in the industry for over 20 years. This time, however, there’s a big change: From now on, you can not only listen to the new episodes of the podcast, but also watch them as videos on Spotify and YouTube. This way, you can experience our guests’ conversations in a more immersive way. Our older episodes will also gradually be available in video format on our YouTube channel.
Exciting guests and new perspectives from the music industry
In this season, we’re not only welcoming musicians, but also exciting personalities from the music industry. They’ll share their perspectives on the current state of the industry, especially from the viewpoint of FLINTA individuals. Look forward to guests such as casting show winner Stefanie Heinzmann, children’s singer Simone Sommerland, and Nadin Lefkeli, Managing Director of Jung von Matt Music. Also joining us are BRUCKNER, the Elevator Boys, and many more artists and creators from the German music scene.
As in previous seasons, the podcast will continue to focus on topics from the music industry. It’s not just about the individual stories of the artists, but also the structures and challenges that shape the industry. Our guests will share their experiences and viewpoints on important topics like mental health, the pressure from labels, and the earning opportunities for creators. Additionally, we’ll talk about the impact of social media on the music scene, how the industry can become more inclusive and fair, and the challenges that FLINTA individuals face in the music industry.

*The term FLINTA stands for women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, transgender, and agender individuals. It was created to include these diverse gender identities and to highlight the unique experiences and challenges faced by these often underrepresented or invisible groups in various areas of society – such as the music industry.
