Behind-the-scenes of a Specialist in Warehouse Logistics
On February 26th, we had the opportunity, as an apprenticing company, to contribute to a video created by the Federal Employment Agency of Germany, which provides an in-depth introduction to the profession of Specialist in Warehouse Logistics (m/f/d). The video gives an insight into the daily life of this versatile apprenticeship, covering everything from goods receipt to order picking and logistics planning. It clearly demonstrates why this profession is diverse, exciting and secure for the future. This apprenticeship offers numerous development opportunities and is in high demand due to ongoing digitalisation and automation in the logistics industry.
We are very proud that we were able to involve two of our dedicated apprentices, Elena and Leon, in this project. They guide the viewers through the video and offer authentic insights into their daily tasks.

Since the early 2000s, our logistics have evolved from a single hall into Europe’s largest shipping warehouse. Our warehouse currently holds around 120,000 different products, over 80,000 pallet spaces, and a 12 km long conveyor belt system.
Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, such as automated conveyors and robotics, along with our large and dedicated logistics team of over 700 employees, we ship up to 35,000 orders daily. This enables us to deliver quickly and reliably to our customers worldwide.
